FEBRUARY 9, 2007: NEW MILFORD, CT  

These are some picturs from Bernie's concert on February 9, 2007 at Faith Ministries in New Milford, CT.  The event also consisted of a silent auction and VIP dinner with all proceeds benefitting the Faith Foundation for Children and the Hillside Food Outreach.  Thirteen year-old Tiffany Giardina opended the show with a few songs.  She definitely has a bright future.  Next was Zoraida Arroyo performing with Bernie and his band.  They were terrific and really brought the house down with their cover version of Los Lonely Boys' "Heaven."  Bernie then did a few of his solo songs.  He perfromed "La Salsa en Mi" and "Stranded on the Bridge" from The Journey Within, in addition to a few other selections I had never heard before.  They were all excellent.  Chynna Phillips closed the show with Bernie joining in on guitar.  They performed a cover of Extreme's "More Than Words" and some of Chynna's songs from her forthcoming album.  Bernie and the band then backed her on the final tune of the evening, "Hold On," from her Wilson-Phillips days.  Also on hand was former New York Knick Allan Houston, who addressed the crowd after the show.  A great time was had by all.
